Our products made of solid copper are handcrafted and entirely hand-tin-lined by pure Tin (Chemical code is Sn). Any visible streak is not to be considered as adefect on the contrary the proof of the hand manufacturing.
This is the reason why our copper cook-wares and containers, with handcrafted tin-lined body and lid, grant a perfect cooking able to keep taste and nutrition facts unchanged. Our products are hand hammered and tin-lined according to the traditional process which Turkish craftsmen have been using for centuries. The solid coper discs (for the body and the lid) and the solid brass (for the handles) make our products life lasting combining tradition, simplicity and functionality.
GENERAL USE INSTRUCTIONS
Use low heat fire
Use wooden, plastic or silicone ladles during cooking
Not suitable for food storage – For cooking/Serving purposes only
Salt, high temperatures, acid food might cause stains or change color of copper but it is a natural and harmless process
FIRST TIME USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the cookwares for the first time, we suggest you to clean the unit with milk as follows:
Pour a glass of milk in to the unit and set on medium fire.
As soon as the milk starts boiling, remove the unit from the fire and let the milk cool down.
Clean the unit interior and the lid interior using the milk as detergent-water mix, rinse with warm water.
Repeat above step with warm water and mild detergent mix again.
Immediately dry with a soft dry cotton cloth.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
No dishwasher. Hand wash only. Clean inside with mild detergent, and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Dry the unit immediately after rinsing, using a clean soft cotton cloth inside and outside.
Never use steel wool, any abresive or violent -acting or toxic cleaners on inside and outside.
To maintain the shine, polish occasionally with copper polish and clean with a soft dry cottton cloth.
